Common causes of viscosity changes are: overheating, mixed lubricants, wrong lubricant, additive failure, oxidation, fuel dilution, moisture and particle contamination. Visco Check was specifically developed as a portable indicator for the maintenance staff to detect any fluid viscosity changes, as a part of Proactive Maintenance.

Visco Check is small and lightweight and can be easily connected using Test Point fittings. It is a mechanical instrument without any electrical supply .It checks oil viscosity from bottle oil samples with the LAB Unit. It takes only a few minutes to do a test and get fluid viscosity.
